Laboring-Class Poets Onlne
2014 – Now
Laboring-Class Poets Online is a substantial component of my MA thesis (2017, Oregon State University). It grew out of the work of John Goodridge, Bridget Keegan, and a team of eighteenth and nineteenth-century British literature scholars who compiled key biographical and bibliographic information on over 2,000 British working-class poets, such as vital dates, identity markers, occupations, interactions with other laboring-class writers and institutions, key publications, and secondary and reference sources.
From 2013-2015 I structured this data, and as part of my MA thesis I then created LCPO, a Drupal website which provides an accessible way for scholars to access the structured data through maps and other visualizations.
